Q. Why does my computer can cost more than the advertised price?
The price listed is for the federal emission size of the engine. However, some particular computers can cost more. These computers are found in low emission vehicles, or rare part numbers that need to be special ordered.
Q. What if I don’t know which computer I need?
A. Call us! We can still help. If not, we will be more than happy to point you in the right direction.
Q. Can I return my computer if it doesn’t work?
A. Yes. The part may be returned within 10 days of delivery as long as it is returned in its original condition. The return will be subject to shipping charges as well as programming charges. See our return policy for more information.
Q. What if I or my mechanic misdiagnoses my vehicle’s problem?
A. It is up to you and your mechanic to make sure the vehicle is diagnosed correctly. However, if it does happen you can return it within 15 days of delivery for a refund minus a reprogramming and restocking fee. If you are unsure you have a bad computer, we recommend sending it in for testing.
Q. I’m not sure my computer is bad. How do I send it in for testing?
A. Just place in a box and ship it to us. All you need to do is place your computer in a box with our repair form and send it to us. Our $50 test fee includes both testing and a prepaid shipping label. You can also call us here at 1-855-300-4555 and we can walk you through the process.
Q. If I order a replacement unit, do I have to pay a core charge?
A. Yes we do have a core charge. Every make/model has a different core charge so prices may vary. Feel free to give us a call at 1-855-300-4555 if you need further assistance.
Q. How soon will I receive my computer once I have placed the order?
A. We ship our parts Monday through Friday. Ground shipping times vary from 1-6 business days for most areas. Air shipping times are always 1-4 business days. All orders are shipped within 1-3 business days.
Q. Do I need to have any additional programming done once I receive my part?
A. All Chrysler, Dodge, and Jeep products are plug-and-play. Some Ford and Japanese models will require a locksmith for your key programming after the part is installed. If your part requires any additional programming then we will inform you before you make your purchase. All BMW, MERCEDES and LEXUS come programmed and are plug-and-play.
